Sketching is an almost therapeutic undertaking that is rewarding all by itself, and when you are lucky enough to do it for a living, you are lucky enough. Not every day is a sketching day unfortunately, but I work at least a couple or three in a week (or weekend). My favorite time to draw is in the morning and I found that I am more creative and fresh minded at that time so the quality of the work is a little better too. Deadlines don’t care about all these superficial qualities, so one can end up drawing at midnight- but for the most part it is a daytime ritual with coffee and some good music is vital to the process. I literally can’t draw well without music in the room, it feels like trying to run in the snow, or driving in Atlanta.

Your writing is as good as your architecture. Beautiful and thoughtful
I am really enjoying the writing efforts and they are just a different kind of creative process, I am learning about that as I go, your encouraging words are much appreciated- as always.
